ABOUT THE OLSON AGENCY

The Olson Agency is a political consulting firm based in Spokane, WA serving Constitutional Conservative candidates at local, state, and national levels in Washington, Idaho, and Montana.

I’m Jill. A wife, a proud Texan, a political consultant, and an entrepreneur. My career spans over 10 years of professional photography and design focused on marketing and development for campaigns, companies, and individuals. I believe politics is sales.  It is a sales and marketing effort candidates maintain for a period of months for smaller races to years for larger races.

Putting together teams and building networks is a passion and crucial skill I’ve learned throughout my career.  Team building and management are crucial to winning your next election.

Being an entrepreneur and starting a company early in life has taught me the value of learning how organizations function and has given me a unique perspective on how to help individuals and companies find their strengths and support networks. I learned the campaign consulting business from the ground up.  I've knocked on the doors, made donor calls, crafted the narrative, and worked in the critical roles required to mount a successful campaign.  I took the same approach to learn how to be effective in the political campaign space. Ultimately, I know you're focused on results, which is why The Olson Agency is a results-driven firm.  Winning is what matters.

My goal is to elect Constitutional Conservatives to public office.  In the true spirit of Texas, my approach to campaigning is simple: go big or go home.  There is no prize for second place.

THE POWER OF PROCESS

THE FUNDAMENTALS OF A WINNING CAMPAIGN

PHASE ONE
PRE-LAUNCH

How you begin matters in politics. The quality of your preparation will determine your overall trajectory in Phase 2.

FOCUS: Organization. Precise Execution of Preliminary Set-up.

PHASE TWO
LAUNCH - CORE

Set the tone of your campaign early by executing a Massive Action Plan. Phase 2 is all about building the energy required to break through the
"Pit of Despair."

FOCUS: Fundraising. Initial Name ID. Build Energy Through Massive Action.

THE PIT OF DESPAIR
LACK OF TRACTION

The Pit of Despair is the place campaigns go to die. If you fall in--you'll probably never come out. Campaigns that lack the energy and finances to get past this stage almost always fail.

PHASE THREE
BUILDING THE BASE - EARLY SUPPORT

Focus on 3/4 and 4/4 conservative voters. These people will be your campaign's first wave of fired-up supporters who will volunteer and contribute.

FOCUS: Fundraising. Community (Ambassadors). Word-of-mouth Advertising. Increasing Visibility.

PHASE FOUR
ESTABLISH - LATE SUPPORT

Expand your footprint to include Swing voters and Right-breaking Independent voters. These voting segments are the key to winning--especially in a tight race.

FOCUS: Fundraising. Expanding Community (Ambassadors). Earned Media. Advertising. Ground Game.

PHASE FIVE
IMPOSE - UNDECIDED/PERSUADABLE

Separate yourself from the other candidates in the race by creating an atmosphere and perception of inevitability.

FOCUS: Fundraising. Earned Media. Coordinated Advertising. Ground Game.

THE RIGHT TOOL FOR THE RIGHT JOB

Reaching the Hearts and Minds of We the People

Data & Data Management

Understanding who your voter universe contains is the foundation of building a winning strategy.

Lead Capture & List Building

Building your voter contact list is the key to broadcasting your message and staying in contact with voters.

Lit., Collateral Creation & Mail

Eye-catching literature and promotional materials buy you the first 30 seconds to make your pitch.

Video, TV & Radio Creation

Visual and auditory messaging is one of the most powerful ways to reach your voters and keep them engaged.

Event and Advance Team

Exciting your base and persuading undecided voters can all be accomplished by well-planned events and rallies.

Fundraising & Donors

Fundraising is the lifeblood of every campaign and business. Without donors, you have no campaign.

Targeted Ground Attack

Knocking on doors isn't sexy. In fact, it's hot in the summertime and cold in the fall. It's also the key to winning a close race.

Phone Calls & P2P Texting

Telemarking and P2P Texting reach voters at high contact rates. Email is good. Texting and calls are better.

Digital Ads & Social Media

Micro-targeting voters to make sure they see meaningful messages is an important part of digital targeting.

Narrative Creation

The most fundamental idea in narrative creation is to talk about issues that are important to the people (not you).

Budget Creation & Management

Managing "burn-rate" and proper allocation of fundraising dollars is essential to running a healthy campaign.

The Campaign Calendar

The Campaign Calendar is the roadmap to victory or defeat. A campaign without a calendar isn't a campaign at all.
